I'm an environmental statistician, with a focus on Arctic ecosystems and the risks faced there. I taught applied statistics to upper level undergraduate and early stage graduate students in the environmental science, forestry, fisheries, and oceanography programs at the University of Washington.
I returned to the secondary classroom after 18 years working as a science education coordinator at a center for excellence, then over 10 years as an energy educator, and lastly a pre-service teacher educator. I have been an active member of state EE org. for 15 years, serving on board & past pres.
