I am the Director of the Pennington Marine Science located on Catalina Island. The center is part of Camp Emerald Bay which is owned and operated by the Western Los Angeles County Council of the Boy Scouts of America. In the summer we run a scout camp and outdoor education camps in the spring & fall

I'm an active outdoor educator interested in developing programs to involve school groups in citizen science. I hope to create opportunities to make marine environments and scientific research more accessible to students.
