Kate works as Sustainable Forestry K-12 Outreach Specialist with the Wisconsin Center for Environmental Education. She has worked in WI, CA, MN, NYC, and the Menominee Nation facilitating sustainability and environmental education. She loves art-science fusions and place-based listening methods.

Hi, I am a first grade and a fourth grade science teacher. Being a teacher is my passion, I really enjoy preparing my classes. Share with my students and classmates. I love learning about everything and being able to share it with my students in a fun, dynamic and relevant way.

Current PhD Student at Oregon State University focused on environmental/ marine education, free-choice learning, and promoting diversity and inclusion in informal STEM education.

I am a Wood Scientist and Forester with a passion for sustainability, inventing, and entrepreneurship. I hope that my work will help boost waste recovery, waste utilization, sustainability and creative problem solving, while also reducing pressures on landfills, forests, society and the planet.
