The best way to change the world for the better is to create inspirational and educational experiences for people of all ages and backgrounds. The goal of my work is to cultivate connection to self, others, community and the natural world.

I am an Associate Program Officer with the National Academies of Sciences' Gulf Research Program, working on education and capacity-building initiatives. I hold a PhD in Science and Environmental Education from the University of Tennessee and several years of formal and informal teaching experience.

Our mission is to nurture generations of ecologically aware, academically well-rounded bilingual individuals. To work to provide students with the knowledge, values and skills needed to make environmentally and socially conscious decisions on a local, national and global scale.
